Brandon descends on our nation’s capital to spend time with former Chief of the Natural Resources conservation Service, Bruce Knight. Who is now a consultant engaged on the Horizon II grant. He also meets up with Patrick Serfass, the CEO of the American Biogas Council to discuss the place of biogas in the world of renewable energy. Making the rounds on Capitol Hill, Brandon visits with Congresswoman Marianette Miller-Meeks and other members of congress about the importance of soil conservation and biogas, and how Horizon II benefits both. Brandon ends the trip at the Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation annual gala where he reconnects with his friend and fellow Missourian, Senator Martin Heinrich who serves the state of New Mexico.
